Here is what our puppies owners have to say about our dogs! If you would like to post a comment, please contact us.
Darcy and Andy Kemp (Sheena) We love the Rottie we got from the McLaughlins. We have always liked the breed but found their pup to be exceptionally loving and trainable. Her markings are beautiful. Her head is broad, her ears stand smart and well balanced. Her head shows expression remarkably well. She is muscular and sleek, and now at a year old, her chest is beginning to broaden. She has a regal stance and should show well if trained, but our goal is to breed rarely and have a wonderful family guard dog and pet, and Sheena fits that perfectly.
Lucas W. Henn, M.D. & Lisa (Murron) Jan 2007 Lisa and I are absolutely thrilled with our new pup. We have named her Murron- the name is the love interest for William Wallace in our favorite movie, Braveheart... Murron has been all we ever wanted in a dog. It is hard to believe we've only had her for less than 12 hours. She is well behaved, lovable, and perhaps best of all, a quick learner. We were VERY impressed with your whole operation and will definitely keep you all informed of her progress and up to date with current pictures. May 2007 Our life with Murron couldn't be better. She's extremely well behaved and picks up tricks and commands very quickly. She is very socialble and plays excellent with all sorts of dogs... Thanks again for our gorgeous well breed dog. We love her so much. December 2007 It is hard to believe that a year has passed- Murron is doing remarkable. She passed her AKC Good Citizen test this passed week and has really developed into an amazing companion and dog. We are considering showing her, or at the very least continuing with her training- we'll have to see what time permits. She is incredibly smart and easy to teach. Her temperament is second to none and she is loved by all our friends and the neighborhood kids. She is best friends with a Visla and holds her own running around the yard- she really is very athletic and is literally without an ounce of fat. July 2008 Hello! It's been awhile since we have written- we've been really busy and so has Murron. She passed her AKC good citizenship test without breaking a pant and continues to be an extremely quick learner. Her vocabulary has grown tremendously over the last 6 months and she continues to amaze us with her many talents (and her intelligent and sophisticated personality)... ...In May I asked my girlfriend(and Murron's "mom") Lisa to be my wife and she accepted- we are to be married June 13, 2009. We found out in June that we are going to be moving to Los Angeles in July 2009 for 2 year so I can train to be a heart and lung surgeon. But... no matter what is going on in our lives- Murron is always at the absolute center. Thank you so much for her.
Kellie and Jeff (Cody) Jan 2007 Cody is doing wonderful, we absolutely love him.
Jenna and Jeff (Charlee) December 2007 Charlee is doing great and I love her to death! We spend a lot of time playing at the beach and she's great with other dogs, even ones much smaller than she is. She is 70lbs now but still thinks she's little; she tries to sit in my lap all the time. Thank you so much for her, I could not imagine my life without her.
Dave & Michelle Calta (Primo) October 2007 Dave, Harley and I just wanted to thank you AGAIN for our wonderful addition to our family - WE LOVE PRIMO TO DEATH AND WOULDN'T TRADE 'EM FOR THE WORLD - don't know what we would do without him. Thanks, AGAIN. PS Always enjoy your website - go there quite often just to see the little "babies"
Jennifer Zimnox and Family ("Atticus" Verick von Zimnox) December 2007 Debby and Fred, I cant tell you just how much we are loving Atticus! He is so smart and has the BEST temperament I have ever had in a dog. He truly is one of my children!
Danielle and Mike (Lola) December 2007 Lola is our baby. She is so lovable and cuddly. Mike is the one who pushed get a Rottie, I have always have had small dogs but Lola has definitely changed my opinion of Rotts and big dogs. She's like a 60 pound lap dog(and still growing). Constantly giving us kisses and when we drive, if she's in the front seat, she has to have her paw on one of hands, it is the cutest thing... Like she's holding our hand!! Mike says weekly about getting another Rottie and if we decide to do so we will definitely return to your home.
Becky (Jonah) December 2007 I would refer anyone to you guys, your dogs are beautiful and their temperaments superb, Hoping to bring Johah to the farm someday soon to see you, Debby this boy is soo huge, I hope he stops growing soon, or he will be as big as my house!
Wynter & Tim (Hank) December 2007 “Hank”,... will be two in January. We love him to pieces. He is so cuddly and good with everyone. We also have a two pound Chihuahua and he lays on the floor and plays with her. He is a gentle, gentle guy... He loves his football, anything soft to lay on (preferably the sofa and bed), company, little dogs, and dragging me down the sidewalk. His personality is so great. We would consider adding a female from you if she were of the same paren ts. I would like to have him be a therapy dog, but I don’t have the time. He weighs about 105 lbs. and wishes he were 5 pounds so he could be carried and get his entire body on your lap. He sleeps between Tim and I in the bed until we have to kick him out for stealing the blankets. He then migrates to the guest bed. Anyway, thanks for him. We LOVE him always.
Jen Bunner (Rock) December 2007 You guys would not believe how big Rock has gotten. He is the best dog. He still believes that he is a lap dog though, can't get it through his head that he is too big for that. He is a great watch dog and is great with our 2 girls. I couldn't ask for a better Rottie. Thank you for letting us have him in our lives.
Kelly & Jeff (Storm) Storm is well loved and she is my husband's baby. If in the future we are looking to add another Rotty to our family, we will not hesitate to contact you. We also will highly recommend you to anyone who wants to add this magnificient dog to their family. We were lucky to have found a breeder as skilled and caring as the two of you. I so love looking on your website at all of your beautiful dogs.
Dick & Carol (Toby) February 2008 Hi guys, I know I don't have to tell you this but being proud grandparents I thought you might like to hear this. At least once a week I walk Toby down at Quail Hollow State Park and without fail there is always someone stopping me to tell me what a beautiful dog he is or how well behaved he is. Thanks to Hunter & Ginger for producing this great pup. More pictures to come.
Sheila (Ebony) February 2008 Just wanted to say Thanks Again for such a great, loving little girl we got from you. She is now 9 months old and doing so well. We love her to death.
Christy (Layla Marie) May 2008 Just wanted to stop in and let you know what great puppies you are breeding. Layla Marie is doing AWESOME (Ginger's October '06 Litter) I wouldn't trade her for the world. Hope your Summer goes well. On another note, Angel's newest litter is absolutely ADORABLE. That one little girl has a lot of brothers to take care of her =)
Todd (Brutus) July 2008 ...congrats to you and Gracie. Brutus sends his love to mommy, and to you of course Debby. The summer is going well, and Brutus is doing well. He is really starting to mature, and responds better than ever to all of his commands. He has recently been given some new jobs to perform. He gets his leash whenever it is time to go out, and he also retrieves the newspaper first thing in the morning. Best thing about it, he loves doing these little tasks!
Duane & Heather (Heidi) December 2008 ...She's a great dog! It's cute, because I'll ask her to go find her toys and she will bring them back to me, or I'll tell her to go find the kids and she'll run around the house until she finds them (which isn't too difficult because they can be heard from Ohio I'm sure!). She loves to sit on the kids, so if they are laying on the floor watching tv, Heidi will make herself comfortable and sit on someone. It doesn't matter who, as long as she has someone warm and squishy to sit on! I must say, that whenever we see Rottie's out and about, we always compare them to Heidi and you and your husband have done such a great job in breeding your dogs. Heidi is so pretty and properly proportioned. Her coat is shiny and healthy, and she just overall looks healthy. You just have beautiful dogs and people comment all the time on how pretty she looks!
Aimee & Bryce (Kyra) November 2008 ...She is so sweet and loveable which really confuses most people. When I tell them that I have a rottie, normally they do the whole "oh" thing and back up from me like I'm going to attack them myself, it's crazy. But then once they meet her, they are like putty in her paws, she's truely amazing. She'll sit completely still and let them pet her and then usually roll over on her back so they can scratch her tummy, no barking, hardly any licking, not usually any jumping even, we'll definatly have to look into putting her into some sort of work she definatey has a great temperament for being around people and other animals, she's never met one feline or otherwise that she's not liked, it's amazing! Hopefully we can change the stigma attached to rotties one person at a time.
